This blog is for fun and enlightenment. I try not to be too crass, too opinionated, too critical or too political as some of these things tend to drive new and old friends away. BUT, I do ask that you be open-minded and understanding in that we are all different and unique human beings who sometimes make the mistake of saying things before we think them through. Live well, laugh often, love much, and by all means, come back soon.

From A Distance

Bette Midler sings a song "From A Distance" and when Hubby took a photo of me at Abbott Lake he seemed a bit more concerned with capturing Flat Top Mountain in the background....

rather than a photo of his wife's lovely face. He captured me from a distance.

When we rounded the other side of Abbott Lake I noticed a couple on the hill. See them just in front of the orange colored trees? They seemed to be enthralled with one another. A lovely sight.

But as we came closer I was glad, from the looks of the passionate position of their bodies, that I had indeed captured them 'from a distance'. ;-)

Love is the song of every man, and sometimes a close-up is just not needed in order to convey a message.
