Last year in November I bought a bright turquoise scarf to wear with my winter white coat.

Late this summer I bought this crazy looking scarf and love it! Air conditioning even though it feels wonderful to a sweaty old menopausal woman can sometime chill my shoulders and neck. So a lightweight summer scarf felt yummy at times.

When Hubby and I went to North Carolina over Labor Day week-end I was excited to step foot into a Chico's store which I had not done since moving away from Arizona two years ago. Hubby bought me a great looking bright blue and black print scarf while there... (still hugging him for this pretty gift) Muah!

Then a week ago while reading the Sunday morning ad flyers I noticed that Target was having a sale on their scarves. That's when lovely lavender entered my life. Ooooh, how I'm loving lavender next to my chinny chin chin.
Since they were on sale I couldn't just buy one for heaven sakes... and so I bought this rose colored one as well... in fact, I bought two rose colored scarves with YOU in mind. AND, I'm giving one of them away today... it looks exactly like the one I am modeling here for you.
So leave me a comment letting me know if you want the scarf. Oh, and make sure you leave your e-mail address if it's not on your blog or profile page where I can find it.
I'll put all your names in a bowl on slips of paper and have Hubby draw the name on Tuesday evening. That should give you all time to decide if you want in on the contest. If Hubby works late then I'll do a random number generator instead.
P.S. No restrictions on this contest... EVERYONE can enter! Woo Hoo
GOOD LUCK! I know you'll look great in this scarf!

Di, thank you for your thoughts and concern about my recent "blue" days. You are sweet. I just read your comment about the colorful scarf you are generously giving away. You can count me in! You sure have the scarf wardrobe!!!
Oh Di! Those pictures of you are just beautiful!! :) I loved them all.
I am so sorry...I had no intention of making you sad, sweet friend! Never! I am trying so hard to stay in the game in the blogging world..and right now it is just a struggle. I was trying to be upbeat on my post but reading over again through your eyes...I did get a bit "morbid" I guess.
I won't lie to you though...I was trying to be honest. I fight fear daily. I know I am getting up there in years and any illness would take it's toll on me. I must accept.
I really am doing well though. It's just slow...and I did not expect that. I have always bounced back quickly..until this past July...
Your encourageing words are such a boost! Not to worry...in a another month, if all goes as it should...I will be back complaining about my camera and blogging away like a crazy old woman.
Like you, I want the Devil to cringe when he knows I am up and about in the morning! :) I loved that!!
Many hugs to you dear friend!
Mona
Pick me, pick me! ;) I'd love to have a new scarf when I head back to NC this winter!

You look lovely in those scarves, and you wear them with such style! I love scarves but haven't worn them in a while; I noticed they seem to be making a come back in the fashion world so I might just have to dig mine out.
Happy Autumn!
That scarf could give me a whole new look!
I love scarves! Great idea for a giveaway, too. Please add me.
Can always use a great scarf! And that's a mighty fine color. :)
Good morning, Di
I saw your comment at the Back Porch. I included information about the prints within the makeover post. Bird prints are Cavalinni 2010 bird and nest calendar pages, I had framed at Michael's. The egg prints are from All Posters and framed with stock Michael's frames. Thanks for coming by and your comment.
On the subject of scarves...I love them! I also love Chico's. I usually shop online, but was absolutely thrilled when a store opened within a short drive of our home!
Thanks for stopping by.
That scarf is honestly my favorite color. Count me in.
Chico's... what a fun store! Beautiful scarves, all of 'em... count me in.

I am loving all the scarfs.. when we were in Sweden 10 years ago, we noticed every woman wore a scarf.. of some kind. We(my sis and mom and I) all came home and started being more serious about scarfs!
So.. yes put me in your drawing!!!
Jan :)
You are SO right - that scarf is SO me!!!

Di, you look so cute in all your scarves!
Me, I am boring and conservative and I could stand to accessorize more. So please count me in for the giveaway!
But if I win, you have to promise to tell me what I should wear with the scarf!! I'm not the most fashion forward gal, lol.
I love it!! Absolutely love ALL of them and count me in too!! You make a wonderful model for them all....you're so damned cute.:)
I love scarves but struggle to tie them where they look right on me. If I were to win this, I'd need tying instructions too. :)

I would love the scarf! We were shopping in a touristy town yesterday with some friends and I had just commented to one of them about how much I liked all these pretty scarves you see in shops nowadays. Please enter me in your contest.

First time visiting your blog. I was visiting Leslie at Greenberry House. You have some funny "witt" going there.
I like what you said under your profile, about being the kind of woman, that in the morning when your feet hit the ground the Devil says" OH CRAP, SHE'S UP! too cute!! if I'm not too late count me in too, please for the drawing.
What a great scarf Di, I'd love to be entered to win it!

You don't just take pretty pictures...you are very photogenic!
I am not just saying that so you will let me with the scarf contest either :)

Hey there Di!
Love your snappy little blog here! Thanks for visiting and for the kind comments on my Journey Through Grace. :c) Add me to the list of those who'd love a pretty scarf! Have a great day!
Jayne
I was never much of a scarf wearer until my older daughter started wearing them. However, I also think there is a MUCH better variety of them to choose from then there used to be. So throw my name in the hat!
You look lovely in all the colors Di! I like that white sweater/jacket too!
Hi Sharon! White sweater jacket is from J.C. Penney. Great quality and was on sale at 25% off last week.
Di
Hello! I stopped by via my "scarf sister", Maria.... and happened to see you're giving away a scarf. I'm a scarf person too! - Recently I purchased a beautiful brightly colored rose, purple, lavender and turquoise Liz Claiborne scarf for a mere ten cents at our local thrift shop! It goes perfectly with a lavender blouse that I'll be wearing while speaking at a women's Bible study in a few weeks! I was very excited to find the scarf! I hope you'll consider me for the drawing - even though I haven't been a "regular" contributor! I'll be back though! I've enjoyed reading your blog! God bless you!
Gorgeous! Definitely count me in.
Hi Di - all the scarves are beautiful and I would absolutely love to win one - who wouldn't. Thanks for including me! Cathy
YES! What a fabulous giveaway. Count me in!
Oooooh, I'm all into scarves now. You have a great collection. I'm so glad scarves are back in.
And that pink and red color would look fabulous on my new "girlie in love" face. :))
Thanks, Di!
Oooohhh, what a pretty scarf! I would have loved to have had that in TN.
Yo Di - I have taken a comment vacation the last few months...but this scarf is cute enough to make me leave my vacay.
PICK ME!
I'd love a new scarf!
This scarf would make a lovely Christmas present for Dena. She is a big scar person, and living in Flagstaff she can wear them year round. Sooooo, please, please pic me and make two of your relatives very happy! Sondra
Oh, yes, yes, yes I want the scarf. I recently bought a couple to try out. I need some color around my face and I need something to draw attention away from my scars.
Pick me-Pick me!

I love wearing a scarf! I just had one on all day today actually -- it was an orangey/pinky color. Sounds weird but it is so pretty.
Oooooh! I have been wanting to wear scarves ever since I cut my hair ALL off and my neck & shoulders are always cold!
Pick me! Pick me! It is lovely!
Oh, am I too late to the party??? You've picked my favorite color for the give-away. You look beautiful in all of them!
