Just The Berries

One of my grandmothers had a saying that she used quite often... whenever something struck her as odd or quite funny she would laugh and say, "well, isn't that just the berries". As kids we would say it when she was not around and giggle at the absurdity of it.

I heard a funny noise just a bit ago as I logged onto my Facebook page. It was the sound of a person leaving my Facebook friend's list. People tend to take sides whenever there is a pissing contest in a family. Rather than saying what they think and discussing it you just hear the sound of them leaving your Facebook friend's list. Actually it makes no sound at all, but it does make all the noise go away. Isn't that just the berries?

Oh dear. My friend, I know you have a heart of gold and I am sorry that some can't see it. Also, this makes me really glad that I don't keep track of the numbers of friends on my FB page! LOL.

It would seem that some of us haven't gotten much farther than kindergarten. Have a cookie and to heck with them.

Facebook can be brutal...even if you're completely innocent. It seems like the berries are the last of the fall to me. We have forties today but enjoyed the high seventies this past weekend...guess winter is here!!!

Oh I totally agree with Smart Mouth Broad. Kindergarten style. It's like - you didn't lend me your crayons, I don't like you any more now.

And that is a good phrase, you know.. it sounds berry-nice. :))

Love the berries and great tie in, sorry someone is being immature about whatever, without knowing all the details, I'm taking your side,lol....Along time ago, Nick was in a wedding, one of his Marine Corps buddies. His friend was our age, 19 and his new bride was much older, in her 30's, which to us seemed ancient,lol...she had a saying whenever her husband would cuss, "Bad berries Wayne" lol...she truly talked to him like a child and I wonder how long that marriage lasted, bad berries, what a funny saying, lol

Friending, unfriending........whatever. Thankfully I don't spend too much time on Facebook.

Recently: I didn't know that my daughter had "unfriended" me on Facebook until she "refriended" me. I think a short time period had passed, hence my lack of noticing. But hubby says he was "unfriended" as well, and probably deliberately, while I was "unfriended" by accident. Hmmm...I doubt it, but I've got better things to worry about.

Hmmmm...what's going on on Facebook? I never go there but my entire family does. Grandkids, kids, but not me. From time to time I make a comment when something arrives by email that says I should go look...anyway...I can barely keep up with blogging, let alone facebook.
When I was having "house problems" and told my kids, I went on facebook to read something..and guess what. There it was. A comment on how "LOL, she is pretty serious about.....etc etc." I was so embarrassed that I never went back for more! Hurt my feelings.
It was the berries! :(

Hey Di, great attitude! Facebook is still what it started out - a place for kids to post all their drama... sorry you're some issues but FB is sometimes less than the 'berries' and not bery nice...

PS - I took a photo almost just like this Sunday, great minds...
