November..... and it's raining. But I did find a bit of time to let Snappy get a few shots out in our backyard yesterday while it was sprinkling and before the real stuff started to fall. There's still just hints of color here and there, but you have to sneak around all sides of the house and yard to find them. Most of the trees are already bare and it causes me to think back to our first November here in Virginia in 2007. We still had color on many of the trees at Thanksgiving time. This year it's chillier and makes me wonder if our winter will come a bit earlier.
Handsome and Missy had been following me around the yard so once Snappy had completed her mission we all headed indoors for a bit of music. I had been eyeing this Sam and Ruby CD for a couple of months and finally decided that my ears could use a bit of new sounds while sitting and tapping on my keyboard.
I LIKE IT! And, I've posted some of the songs from the CD over in my right hand column if you would like to listen to them. Then tell me what you think... (1) I like it. (2) No way Hosea it stinks! (3) Umm, well it's okay I guess. (4) I have it already and this CD is 'so yesterday' you out of the loop old woman!!

I never heard of Sam & Ruby, but they are really quite good. This is perfect for just hanging out and relaxing. Thanks for introducing them!
We are still getting rain - about 3 inches so far - and its very windy. A perfect day to stay inside and read.

We had 4.5 inches of rain the gauge at 8 a.m. this morning when I dumped it out. That's a lot of rain, most of it last night.

I LOVE music. I couldn't get the music player to work for me to listen, but I'm not too picky when it comes to music. My fingers are crossed :)
