Some Applause Please....

That's my Hubby up top on the header as well as an AC-130 gunship which he loaded bombs onto and also hung out the side looking for incoming gunfire so he could tell the pilot which way to turn to avoid being hit. It had a huge howitzer Gatling gun out the side and they would fly over Cambodia and shoot the trucks that were bringing in supplies to the North Vietnamese troops. Another of their jobs was to assist the ground troops, drawing fire to themselves while dropping bombs in order to relieve the troops that were caught in heavy ground fire with the North Vietnamese. Hubby was officially known on these flights as a gunner. Can we get some applause for this man please as well as his branch of service, the United States Air Force.

HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY DARLIN'. I LOVE YOU!!
