It's been beyond cold in the midwestern states this past week and so while wandering around Target one day I selected some fun ear-flapped hats for the grandkids. They arrived in the mail at their house yesterday and they were so delighted that they immediately snapped a photo and sent it off to me. There will be absolutely no cold ears or heads in their house this winter. LOOK... they hadn't even taken the tags off the top yet!! Now THAT'S excitement.
In other exciting news today, we have a winner in the scarf giveaway. Please congratulate Carol of Pop And Ice. I'll be shooting off an e-mail to her pronto mundo and sending her the lovely earth tone colored scarf. Carol is in cold country so scarves are a much needed accessory item.

Fun! I tried on some hats just like those at Target the other day. I love a hat and scarf on my list this winter too. What a great idea, Grammy!
I remember the days of being so excited over a purchase that I left the tags on - oh yeah - that was last week!

It's dang cold here in Oklahoma but nothing like Michigan. I may need to get my grandchildren some of those hats. They look really warm. The kids are adorable too!
