Our Holiday Snow Video - The December 2009 Blizzard

Hi All!! Over the past 24 hours during the 14 inch snowfall I took numerous movie clips and bunches of photos and have put them together to bring you this 10 minute movie of our Holiday Snow here in Roanoke.

The neighborhood is now quiet after a few neighbors ventured out to move snow out of their driveways. Our road is not yet cleared due to not having state or county services on our street, but I'm sure a few of the neighbors with larger tractors and blades or buckets will be out and about tomorrow doing the neighborly task of cleaning a path so we can get out to civilization if need be.. LOL Enjoy the movie!

I enjoyed the video. Reminded me of when we lived in South Dakota. Glad to now be living in south Texas. Janice

Did you hear me?! I yelled HI DI! at the end of the video!
You know...I think if you never have had snow in your life, you haven't lived. I lived in it as a child in Oregon..
Howard was born and raised in Bucks Harbor Maine, and grew up in it. HOW I loved watching this video.
If I miss one day visiting you...I have missed so much. Watching him clear the snow was as much fun as being there...and none of the cold.
Wasn't that you driving one of the tractors? Looked like fun to me! :)
I LOVE THE VIDEO'S. It is my only chance at experiencing snow. Thanks, Di!
Love and hugs,
