Slow Day Here In Paradise

Okay, so it was a slow day here in what Hubby refers to as Paradise. Not so sure I agree with his description of this part of the world, although it's lovely to the eye it's sometimes a bit boring so I headed to the mall. Macys was after all having a coat sale and 20 coats is simply not enough. I decided I need 21, so after much trying on this one and that one and a few of the other ones I made a purchase of a $300 coat for much much much.... did I say much? Yes, much less than that highway robbery price tag they had on it. Who pays $300 for a coat anyway?? They are after all only fabric and, thread and a few buttons so WHO PAYS $300 flippin' dollars for a coat!!! Not me.

Okay, enough. My feet hurt and it was only getting colder outside by the minute (good thing I bought a coat) so I headed home.

Here's my bom bom bom bom boring drive home.

(why is it that everytime I film these driving events there's always country western music playing on the radio. Ever noticed how repetitive the words are? Like we didn't get it the first time we heard it or something so they have to keep drilling it in over and over. Maybe next trip I can find you a rap station.

Yes, what is it with country music songs? :)I could not imagine paying that much for a coat! Happy Friday!

I'm with anonymous, coming from Jersey myself.

Forget the shopping and just get some horses and you won't be bored!

The country-and-western music? I like it but I AM SICK OF IT. It's on all the time because that's the only stations we have around here! There used to be a good oldies station--106 something. Of course they changed it. Wah!

Ha Ha Ha Ha!! I didn't get the "Bom Bom Bom Bom" at first! You are such a card! I'd ride along with you any time!

P.S.

Good old "you-know-where" has four inches of the white stuff so far, and they're threatening us with eight more on Tuesday! Yes, it's a great life if you don't weaken!

Those repetitive lyrics are what make them such good drinkin' songs!

Sing it Alan! That song is actually pretty appropriate - "Where I Come From". I hope to find some good deals today. Wish me luck!
