~~ UPDATE ~~
There are now three chicks... yes! Triplets!!
Sissy e-mailed the above two photos, one light chickie, one dark chickie, yesterday!
She's in the midst of having to dismantle a room of the house since the builders are there to make the exterior structure a bit different; taking a goofy shaped room and make it square, and bigger, and more beautiful and scraping ceilings.... so all the furniture must be moved elsewhere for a while.
Needless to say she has not had time to photograph baby chick number three yet, which is also black.
But I'll keep nagging at her because that's what all good sisters do!
***Sissy just e-mailed... now 3 blacks and a light one for QUADS! You're half-way to being an Octomom, Daisy!!***
Wonder if that qualifies her for her own reality show?

Ohmygosh... how absolutely adorable!
As my 14 year old grandson would say.... SWEET!
Hahaha, a reality show...you're too funny!
oh too cute! I saw a clip on TV yesterday about the advantages to having chickens. Wonder what my HOA would say if I built a chicken coop! HA!
How sweet! We have an accidental rooster now, maybe we'll have chicks in the spring...yikes!
Oh look how adorable... or as MY 14 year old would say...
Awwwesome.
Cute! As far as a reality show, she'd probably need to be a drunken slut with a tan!
Wow -- so how long will this go on???
Oh they're adorable. They get gawky looking awfully fast. Thanks, Sissy for the speedy photo delivery. :)
Precious!
Oh they are so cute...We have chickens but have never let them nest. We might have to give that a try.
Di, I can always
count on you to
bring me a smile
at some point during
my week! Love this
and you, dear friend.
I've always been
intrigued by chicken
and egg raising, so
I will enjoy this
ride : ) Hope you
are out enjoying the
weekend! xx Suzanne
Everyone loves baby chicks, huh Sis? I moved Daisy and her 4 into the "nursery" and gave the remaining 4 eggs to Chicken Little in the maternity ward. Hopefully she'll hatch them out since she's broody. Too much for Daisy to sit on more eggs for 10 more days while raising her quads:-) Peep peep! Trying to take more pictures but they're fast little rascals and usually 1 or more is a blur.
