Until Hubby's tomatoes on the vine ripen on our back deck I will be continuing to buy tomatoes for his 'addiction to the red things' at our neighborhood country market. They always have a VERY large selection and if I look hard enough I can find a few that are unscathed.
Even if Hubby were not in need of tomatoes you would probably still find me at the market at least once a week just to take in the view of their flowers, fresh veggies, garden and gift section.
Today they had yellow coneflowers just outside the front door and although all I had was my point and shoot in my purse, I just had to take the shot. Only two photos and kaboom! My battery was in need of a re-charge. DANG!
This butterfly had quite the time at the market as well as he fought the wind trying to hang onto flower after flower after flower. Sort of a David and Goliath battle with the wind.

You need to recharge those batteries more often! Or carry a spare ...
I want yellow coneflowers!
I was just thinking yesterday that there sure are a lot of beautiful butterflies fluttering around this year!
I still can't believe you don't absolutely LOVE yummy maters! I'm making salsa out of mine today.
This looks like a great market to visit! Our tomatoes are turning red now. We have been enjoying them.
Great video on the butterfly! You could hear the wind too!
I have never seen yellow coneflowers! Love them. Love the flutterby too! He must've been awfully hungry not to give up!
Lovely lovely post this rainy stormy morning in Missouri! Thank you Di :)

Our heirlooms are coming in faster than we can eat them!!
I just bought a couple of interesting coneflowers -- two raspberry truffle and a green one!!
The coneflowers are so pretty! We have the purple ones here, but I have never seen yellow.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog the other day. I'm from Blue Ridge too. How funny.
You did a great job, those cone flower pics are amazing! Too bad the battery died!
