Mowing, Maters and Pie

Saturday.... finally a week-end with weather worth getting out of bed for.  Rain.... the answer to our wishes finally came true and Hubby mowed the lawn in between fronts of rain, put a pie in the oven to bake which I came home to take out after a bit of grocery shopping. Can't you just smell it??

THEN, he made giambotto for our dinner and WE walked Handsome in the rain.

Saturday was so wonderful that I may not even need a Sunday this week-end.

Your lawn is crazy dry. Our summer has actually been the opposite. We have been mowing every other day and the lawn is a mess!

I wish my computer had a smellometer for that pie.....

The ripe tomatoes look very red and plump. The entire tomato plant looks very healthy. The pie looks delicious. I don't think I could resist a slice of pie either.

OH, send me that tomato!! It's perfect.

Tomatoes from the market only look like tomatoes, they really don't taste like tomatoes.

Hand over the tomato and nobody will get hurt :)
