Prince Charming

Squiggly things?  Mmmm, not my bag.

BUT

My eldest granddaughter is delighted with the critters.

At age 8 she's still into Princess Barbie.

Oh, and having a Prince Charming on each shoulder.

Love you, Maddie Lou.

And when Grammy grows up she wants to be JUST LIKE YOU!

Ms. Maddie seems to be a delight. To me, Barbies and frogs are a perfect combination. She found such cooperative little frogs, too.

When my daughters were little, I taught them the proper way to catch and hold the toads we would find in the yard ... emphasizing that it's very important to hold the toad AWAY from you at first, because peeing on their captor is one of their defense mechanisms. I didn't want to deal with the fall-out of having them learn that lesson the hard way.

What a cutie! She has the right idea - enjoy everything!

Unfortunately, I'm with you - I don't like the squishy squiggleys.

Happy Birthday Maddie!

That second shot is awesome. You can just tell how much trouble she is. :)

I love it!!! -- a gorgeous, blue-eyed GRAND DAUGHTER that loves critters and isn't skittish about putting a frog on each shoulder. We've come a long way, baby!

Oh my gosh! Look at those eyes! What a doll! She's a girl after my own heart - I was a frog/barbie lover myself back in the day. I loved dirt and bugs as much as I loved Bride dolls and the Beatles!

She's adorable. I like frogs too. I don't like spiders, snakes, flies or mosquitoes!
