Bad bad photo. BAH... who cares.
I purchased a $10 gift card to Wally World/Wal-Mart for Valentines Day and never got around to giving it away?
Anyone want it?

2. Leave a comment telling me what you like or dislike about Wal-Mart.. that's right, bad mouth them if you wish. I could care less if the evil empire is belittled.
I'll choose the five best comments and then let another blogger decide who should win. E-mail me if you want to be that blogger that helps me decide.
Contest Ends on Sunday night and I'll announce the winner on Monday. Good Luck!

-->I like Walmart because I can usually find what I'm looking for at a good price. Plus, the typical clientele makes me feel better about myself and my own life. It's like watching Jerry Springer.
i have a good comment first ... love walmart for the better prices, can usually find what i need compared to my other grocery store. can find groceries, lawn & garden & oil for the cars. the bad part is the crowds & the crazy, weird & funny people that shop there. you have very odd people that come out from under the rocks that they live in & come there. the beat there kids there in the store, yelling & screaming... kids are running through the aisles, lots of chasing, finding people poking the meats & really fingering the fruits & veggies. at time it can be really scary. nuts!! but guess what i keep going back ... guess i love the show. ha. ha!! (:
i hate that almost everything you buy from walmart is junk and breaks within a week...i hate their meat....i hate that they have shut down the local mom and pop businesses and now all we have on every corner is a walmart so we shop there because it's convenient...i like their prices on my regular household items/groceries i need but have noticed they are not all that cheaper than kroger and if you shop kroger ads you make out a lot better most the time, plus you get those gas points...i still do half my weekly shopping at walmart and go there for this and that but meats and sale items i hit up kroger or food lion....and also i hate how everyone who is overweight rides those little carts....seriously, i can understand when you need those carts and they are great for those that need it, but laziness does not mean that you NEED it....i think my vent is done lol
I dont like that when we went to a super Wal-Mart that the store is twice as big but has half the stuff.
My absolute favorite thing is "the people of Walmart pictures"... as long as I don't show up as one of them course:@) Thanks for the fun give-away!
I follow of course. I rescue plants from Walmart that they have nearly killed and plant them and they survive and thrive. So I guess I like the garden department for neglecting the plants:-}
I must say that WalMart has the best prices on my over the counter drugs so I do shop there but when I leave I always SWEAR I will never go back...but of course if I win the GC I will! Thanks for letting us vent! Hugs, Linda
Oh and yes I do follow you blog!
:) Linda
I click on your blog as a link from Crazy as a Loom.
I like Walmart's prices and convenience. I can get groceries and fabric and my husband can peruse the rifles and camping gear.
I hate the crowds and have been known more than once to drive all the way across town to get there, only to see how crazy just the parking lot is and then drive out the other side of the lot and go somewhere else without even parking my car!
I also hate how so much of the stuff in WM is made in China. I can't even get canned Mandarin oranges that AREN'T from China.
But the prices...cheaper than anywhere else.
I used to love Walmart but over the years my love has faded. They have betrayed me by destroying their craft department. I no longer can get most of the craft supplies I need there. They have their hooks in me though and I keep returning only to mumble under my breath as I walk the isles "I hate Walmart" :)
Of course I am one of your followers too
I don't like Walmart, for many reasons.
They drive all small businesses out of little towns.
Then they raise the prices.
They treat their employees like crap.
Their stores are too big and make me wild.
They suck.
(COVERING FACE IN SHAME)
I NEED this card because I worked there...and lived to tell!
Oh wait, I try to never walk in there anymore...all I can think about are the workshops where the products must come from...
ok, for a gift card i would totally sell out and walk into a walmart again..cuz I'm THAT kinda gal (STILL covering face!)
Bakersfield California Walmart made me doubt I was in the United States. The music, everything. But..well, the Central Valley of California is mostly Hispanic's working the fields harvesting for us..so I will not complain.
Withdraw my..sort of complaint. :)
I like Walmart because I feel like I'm the loveliest, skinniest, best-dresser in the entire store. :) Hahaha!
I like that I don't expect ANY kind of service or nice employees, and yet they surprise me every time I'm there. Maybe I'm lucky, but our Walmart is actually very nice.
Walmart = best people watching ever!
Good morning!!! Our Walmart is the cleanest one ever and organized too...wow!!
I follow you on blogger
Hugging you

Count me in. Have you ever seen the documentary Walmart? After I saw it I couldn't shop there for a while. But then their lower prices eventually won me out, and I do go there for groceries most of the time.
I am a follower.
I like Walmart because some of their stuff is cheaper but not all. you have to watch!
Also it's like sitting in the airport watching the "weird" go by!
You forgot to give it to someone? No Walmart here .. and I am not sad
I make a valiant effort to shop locally owned when possible so Wal-Mart is usually my last choice, but sometimes it does come in handy.
I tried hard to do this when we lived in LA and a WM opened in our town. I was determined to give my business to our beloved locally owned hardware store and try to keep them afloat. I kept up my boycott of WM for over a year and then one day there was something that I just had to go there for.
I almost fell over in the aisle when whom did I see with a basket FULL of things??? The wife of our hardware store owner!! I was a bit deflated to say the least!
I shop there for certain things becasue they're less expensive in the grocery section, however, they are not my first choice when it comes to merchandise. But hey, I'll take the $10 bucks if I win. I can stock up on lotion...:)JP
I'm following via GFC.
I have ended up at Walmart on a Friday night more than I would like to admit. Usually I'm stopping off for cat food or some other essential on my way home. I'm always amused by the number of hand holding twenty-something couples walking around Walmart on a Friday night. Date night anyone??

I like Walmart because the sales people in there have ALWAYS been so curteous and helpful...I have told my kids many times they should be working in a doctors office instead...
