I've always loved the way they wrap your purchases in pink tissue paper and send it all home with you in a big pink shopping bag. Makes ya feel all girlyfied and special..... okay, and bit gooey on the inside too. Hee hee.
And because I spent a certain amount of money they sent me home with this big, bright pink, duffle bag that they sell for $85.00. Well, they don't look like an $85.00 valued bag to me. I'd say the price is a weeeee bit inflated and that's probably why they give them away. No one wants them.. LOL Well, at least not this old gal.
I couldn't picture myself toting this thing on a plane trip or anywhere else for that matter. It kind of reminded me of those sweat pants they sell that have their name across the fanny. My fanny is no secret. It's big enough that everyone knows it's there, and drawing attention to it is the last thing I would choose to do.
This bag is just marketing. That's all.
So, thanks for the 'free' gift, Vicky. But I won't be dragging it around town doing your marketing work for you.
Maybe Goodwill wants it?

Vicky struck out of that gift. Have a good day.
This is my daughter's favorite store and she has about every bag and hoodie they come out with...me personally, i just get my undies and bras from there but Ash loves their clothes, and the cute bags they package them in! lol about the fanny not being a secret, you're so funny!
HA! That is a bit much--the shade of pink, the silver lettering. Yeah, I would never carry it either!
What? You don't like the pink tote bag, lol?!!! I love pink and I love tote bags and I love their bras! They may be a bit pricey but they're comfy and they last longer than the cheaper bras so to me, it's worth the money spent.
I know what you mean about the advertising across the butt thing... no way for this gal! There are some things that should just not be drawn attention to, lol!
Yikes! I'll pass too. I've always despised the words on the tushy of pants. I just don't think men need any more encouragement to look at young girl's rear ends :)
Every once in a while I get to Vicky's, and I feel the same way as you do about their pretty shopping bags. They make you feel glamorous and girly.
Hello Fellow Blue Ridge Dweller!!! I just found your adorable blog! I love your photography and have had a good time reading over your blog!
I live is SW Virginia, am I anywhere near you???
Blessings

Vicky's pink tissue paper and bags give me warm fuzzies almostt as much as Tiffany's blue tissue paper and bags and boxes. I love to go in our store at the mall and just people watch...especially the guys. There are two types of guys in a Victoria Secrets: 1) The ones who are dragged in there kicking and screaming 2) The ones who gladly go in to browse...the customers, not the merchandise.
I like the bag. Probably wouldn't 'wear' it to the grocery store, but I then, I have a fetish for bags.
my daughter refuses to buy underwear from anywhere other than Victoria's secret.
No way would I spend $85 for that tote bag either. :)
I don't like VS--never have. I think they are poorly fitting bras that don't last for the long haul. And their employees....if that is what they are....don't have a clue about customer service.
The last time I went into their store for a bra, they didn't have white or beige....but they had canary yellow. I'm 48, I don't want to wear canary yellow or tangerine colored bras under my clothes.
Me...I'm a Nordstrom gal. LOVE their service and their fittings ladies. I was measured there and found that VS had me in the wrong size for years!
And oh, don't get me going about VS's catalogs--they are soft porn, plain and simple. I had to call and ask them never to send them to my home--I had a pre-teen boy in the house at the time. Yikes!
Vicky's....ha! You crack me up Di!! ~Lili
Haha....Oh I don't know. Bet this bag would be pretty awesome to haul my Triathlon gear to races in;))
I can see me now, toting a Vicky's Secret hot pink duffle bag around! Gray haired, pushing my walker. Yep, I can see it all now!
Not even sure a teener would want to carry it..
The best knickers in town imho.
Better get there quick and donate. If they get too many, they may not take it.
Maybe the dogs could use it for a toy? :)
Speaking of undies...I need some too!
Hugs
SueAnn
I am always curious about who can wear VS bras.. I am not overly endowed but their bras? Totally dont fit ... me ...
I never shop at VS anymore. I used to to on ocassion. One thing I do love is bags and totes. I drive my husband nuts with collecting or saying I need one. I don't really use them but I know they are there if I need them. I think it is some kind of disorder. Oh well...could be worse, right?~Patti
I need a trip to VS for a fitting ... stuff isn't quite where it used to be, if ya get my drift. (Life's too short to wear boring, predictable undies. Ya never know what I have on beneath my tshirt.)
I went there with our daughter last summer while she was visiting, because she needed a strapless bra for the dress she wore to Daughter #3's wedding. Where else are you going to find a 32DD (no type there) bra but at VS? The salesgirl handed us a box of different style bras in the target size. Each fit slightly differently, and we zeroed in on the styles that fit her the best. The salesgirl then wrote down the size and style of each well-fitting bra, and now Dear Daughter is armed with the info for online shopping, should she choose. I was very impressed with the service, and I should go down there soon to sift through my own box to see what fits well.
Don't hate me because I like the pink tote. It's totally out of character for me, but I find myself strangely drawn to it.
