Hubby arrived home from work yesterday mentally exhausted after fighting with Windows 7 at the office.
It's so unfriendly and demands that he re-load, blah blah blah every day no matter what he is working on..
Frustrating for an engineer who demands excellence in all that he does.
He didn't want to go for our evening walk, so I leashed the pups and headed out the door.
Hubby decided to follow.
It was sunset so I clicked off a few shots just as we were arriving home.
The light is so welcoming to the camera's lens this time of day.
And the sight of our home surrounded by blossoms just warms my soul.
It makes us both want and enjoy our home.
It's almost over you know, don't you?
Springtime that is....
It reached 88 degrees here today.
It will cool down over the next five days,
but the joyous blossoms of my mock orange are leaving the branches behind and falling to earth.
A sure sign that misery, the overly hot and humid temperatures of summer, are right behind.
Now.... about the colors I chose for the Adirondack chairs....
I'll tell you tomorrow.
Hope the anticipation doesn't kill you.

Your Mock Orange is really lovely. . . I prefer sping to a hot, humid summer any day.
I would say spring is over here. It's in the 90's. I never turn my a/c on this early. I am watering, watering, flowers like crazy.
88 degrees??? 50 and drizzly cold here. *sigh*
I want a yellow and a green ADK chair.
The only blooms in my yard now are some Roses! Everything else is already bloomed and gone. Oh and yes you are a tease!!!! Hugs, Linda
Such a lovely home and all the flowers make it warm and inviting!
I'm thinking a couple of green chairs...
Although I would have selected the green ones, I don't think you will! Glad he walked after all!...:)JP
Ahh Mock Orange, one of my all time favorites!

Your house, gardens and property are so lovely, Diane. I imagine it will be hard to leave when the time comes.
Spring slowed down here a bit with cooler weather. It's nice to see some flowers just starting to bloom.

i was so pretty yesterday afternoon. the boys had baseball practice but then the storm started to come in and after about a half hour it was cancelled due to lightning, dang it! beautiful pics!
I love the sky in spring and fall.
I love the sound of meadowlark's call.
I feel serenity from the light blue sky.
Springtime makes me heave a sigh!
Okay, I have no idea where that came from.
Your hubby is the best landscaper... your home is gorgeous, Di. :)
Love your chairs, and the color! As far as spring? Well, I feel like I get two springs this year. It was blooming and nice here in Vegas up in till now, and when I get to Seattle in a few weeks it will be a bit warmer there and everything is blooming! :-)
