Talk To The Hand

Sunday afternoon, late afternoon, we had a few cool breezes pop up which made sitting in our new area of the yard something that could finally come to fruition and be enjoyed.

Izzy of course was on leash because of her huge curiosity about anything that moves and her inability to stay in the yard and return when called.
You can see that she also has a new collar since her last one came into possession of her mouth within a week after being purchased.
She had chewed so much off the end that it was difficult to get looped and was almost too short.
She's our naughty girl.
*said with much love*

Rowdy was without leash.
All he wanted to do was try to get Hubby to feed him a few ice cubes from his cup, and give me kisses, which is his way of reminding us that he wants his afternoon walk.
*our ever faithful and unforgetful pup*

This was Hubby's first sit in the chairs and he vetoes their comfort... but that's ALWAYS the case with him.
If he didn't choose it then of course it's uncomfortable.
I say green.  He says red. I say high.  He says low.
Sometimes I'm not sure how our marriage works, but it does.

He wants a traditional style Adirondack.
One that sits lower to the ground, leans back further,
and is nearly impossible to get out of if your knees give you
age problems.
I told him to order one he likes
and quit complaining.
*grrrrr*
Sometimes as a wife you just don't want to hear it and have
to advise the Hubs to "talk to the hand".

So, it looks as though I have two chairs all to myself.
Want to come sit with me?
Hee hee

I thought they didnt look as comfy as the real Adirondack chairs I grew up climbing on, curling up in .. but since I could only look and not test sit I didnt bring it up .. the angle on the back of the real deal is a lot more angled and easier to sit back in.. just sayin'

I think they look devine . . . and why complain, the chair is there, sit back and enjoy . . . I get the "I like green, I like red" thingy . . . If I could only learn to keep my mouth shut . . . and just SMILE!

I love the chairs, and that color especially. I have to mention that green is the accent color for my favorite football team! Can you guess? LOL

Maybe he just needs a big cushion. Much cheaper than a new chair ;-)

Awww Di, I have both colors and I don't think PH is pleased by either. As a matter of fact he does not see color at all, I think.
I want chairs like those but so far I haven't found any I like..but they will most likely be red. Colonial Red. In Fall they will be gorgeous. Or Green...who knows! :)
I wonder why he does not find them comfy...

Do they make these chairs with lifts that can catapult out of your seat? I need one of those. :)

The chairs look great to me! Poor Izzy, I think she's just acting out for attention like so many younger siblings do:@)

I'll gladly join you in those cool chairs. I'll bring my collection of chewed up collars and we can compare collar chewing styles....lol Duke went through a ton of them his first year and no I didn't actually save any

I love the color of those chairs.

And I'm laughing at your hubby. Sometimes boys just gotta pee on the tree.

smooches and I bet he sits there with you anyway.
