Cheers Still Going On

Hubby likes brunch, and although I'm not one for the mess it makes and the 'having to be the one to clean it up', it generally tastes mighty fine so I go along with the mess, put on my frilly maid costume, and clean it up.

It's generally bell peppers and onions sauteed and then hash browns added to the mix, eggs on the side and of course some bacon.
Yesterday he gave us a little drinkie poo with it called a Poinsettia.
We had a small bottle of champagne given to us by a neighbor, so he popped it open, added a bit of cranberry juice and it actually went quite nicely with the breakfast.

I drank it before I could get upstairs for my camera so this photo from Foodnetwork will have to do.

My photo would have been MUCH prettier though.
Cheers.

Sounds lovely! My hubs and kids are usually the brunch makers bit they do not worry much about presentation. Oh and I am the one who cleans it up most of the time, haha.

I love a nice Poinsettia; not too sweet, not too champagney for me. :)
Brunch sounds nice and knowing you, you look great in that frilly little maid costume.
