Pretend Land

I sit here and look at these photos and ask myself why it couldn't have looked this way during the holiday season.
Man, was it brown and bland out in December!

But ya know what?  This gorgeous look didn't last long either and today it's pretty brown and bland out there again... but I don't want to show you that.

I want you to think I live in a constant Wonderland... Bloggyland is so 'pretend' isn't it?  LOL

Today in 'Pretend Land' Hubby will be heading out of town for just a few hours while I pretend to be a famous and wealthy Header Designer for a couple of returning customers of mine.

It's a new week, a Holiday, and also Inauguration Day.
Any special plans?  Will you be celebrating any of it or simply standing on the sidelines and watching like most of us do?

I don't know, after the incredible photo ops at Morro Bay yesterday, it might be worth a trip back. Although I think the high surf was supposed to have died down last night. It's nice for E to have a paid holiday and a free day at home.

Sometimes I wish I could just sit and watch...too much energy though...walked this morning, showered, went to the gym for 1 1/2hr workout, lunch with the Pres at home while the Inauguration of our President was on, laundry and now blogging...oh, baked a coffee cake in between!...:)JP
