The Ponderers

Lots to think about these days....
For the guy on the left that is.

I catch glimpses of him as he walks just beyond the kitchen window and I know he has as much to think about these days as he did before retirement from the corporate world.
He doesn't do well to sit and do nothing.
He is a worker bee.

I'm going to leave these two alone to think today whilst I head out of town to my dentist appointment, so they can make plans for our future.
Two heads are better than one I suppose.....
when it comes to pondering.

*just before I took this photo Rowdy was sound asleep with his head lying on Hubby's shoulder... he napped there for an hour before waking up with this look.  The pup has a hard time keeping that tongue in his mouth with that underbite of his.  I think he was pondering in his sleep*

Oh... and did you notice that Faith Hill is now sporting braces.
She's such a copycat!
  Curse you Faith!!

Love seeing Rowdy and "the man" having their sleepy moments! And Rowdy's cute little tongue action.

I didn't notice Faith Hill's "copy cat braces" although I did notice she had way to much make up on her " face cheeks". She is so gorgeous but it made her look "sunken cheeked." (a bit of a jealous whine on my part, . . . maybe?)

Yes, lots to ponder. Will the place have a nice big yard for me and Izzy? Will we have lots of sticks to play with? Will we still have this recliner so I can sit with my dad in the chair at night? Rowdy has a lot on his mind, I'm sure.

Oh my, the little tongue sticking out of your dogs mouth is priceless. Like a child sitting on dad's lap.

I noticed last night on the Grammy's that Faith Hill's mouth was not moving naturally, and wondered what was going on. I thought it looked like she had just gone to the dentist and her mouth was still numb, so thanks for clearing up the mystery. Now I can see that she was just talking like someone with new braces!

Your smile looks beautiful!

As if she needs to be any prettier! ;)
Retirement is hard. Looks like the pondering went well, though!

The only thing that would make that first picture better would be if you could get your husband to stick his tongue out while he ponders. Then they would look like a real team....lol
Faith was obviously very jealous of your new smile

I think it's the new "cool" thing to do. My hairdresser had braces recently too. You are too cool, Di!

Faith Hill...how foolish she is to think that braces would ever make her look as beautiful as our Blue Ridge Gal! Oh, she can try, all those movie stars can copy but they can NEVER come even close! :)
Hugs to you, darlin' girl!

Rowdy has the best face EVER!!!!! Pondering can be good.....and exhausting.
I noticed Faith had braces at some award show when she was performing last year. It's never too late to improve ourselves. :)
