Hello my little lovelies. So nice to see you all here with me today on this more than blustery and cooooold day. Twenty Four degrees shall serve as our high outdoor temperature today. Can you hear these creaky, old, cold as ice fingers on the keyboard?
Anyhoo... hope everyone is settled in somewhere warm and cozy today and not having to subject themself to the bitterness of the day out there.
I wanted to mention a little something to you today about my Facebook page.
Oh yes... I do have a personal Facebook page, and I try to keep it personal.. private... This is not intended for a lot of bloggers to join me, but more so for close knit friends, old friends and family. There are a few bloggers on it and I certainly enjoy having them on my personal page and would never ever ask them NOT to be on my personal page with me.
Recently I have had a few Facebook requests on my personal Facebook page by bloggers and blog commenters to be added to my page, and I'm sorry to have to say that I am not accepting those Facebook requests.
I do have a page on Facebook just for you though and would LOVE to see you join me there. It doesn't have a lot of activity on it other than links to my daily posts on this blog, so I'll leave it up to you if you care to join me.
I placed a link on my sidebar that should take you there where you may join...
Be there or be square, and I'm sorry to be such a poopie head about my personal page on Facebook... Hey... we all have to keep some things private, ya know.
Now please don't go away mad because that just wouldn't be right.

You're a smart gal to have the public and private separated.
I am anonymous on my blog, but much braver and more outspoken as a real person on FB and like you, I prefer to keep them as separate as possible.
I commend you for keeping things private..Not everything is meant for everyone.. It was a lovely 12 degrees here in Ky this morning and a high in the twenties as well.. I am so ready for sunny warm days.. Stay warm and enjoy being home..I am... ;)
Well, I had a facebook account and decided to discontinue it. I wasn't sorry. There were a lot of reasons, but basically it is a time suck - and I didn't need that.
I have been on and off facebook. I seldom go there..but it has had it's uses and connected me to a long lost dear friend..and new family photo's are always posted there. However..I pretty much ignore friend requests that say they "know" someone I know and want to be a "friend" etc. I actually pay very little attention to them. I probably should...say ...something. I mean you did.
You are the dearest blogger to me but I haven't and wouldn't ask to join you there. Mine is like yours..pretty personal.
Chatting with you here..seeing what you post..(not to mention getting help from you for my rather pathetic attempt at blogging) is perfect. I just cannot do facebook too..and blog and do a teddy bears blog etc. etc.

Oh wait...it is Hubby's retirement day..forgot where I was for a moment. Congratulations to him. If there is one thing I admire about a man, it's when he gets out there every day and works his hinny off so his wife can buy pretty things! Bless his heart!!

Brrr . . . sounds like six more weeks of winter . . . tomorrow "groundie" will let us know . . .
